Treforest Library
New Study Skills and Silent Study area in Treforest Learning Centre

A major refurbishment project to create a new Study Skills hub and Silent Study area in Treforest Learning Centre has now been completed.

The Silent Study area has been moved and upgraded to include brand new work desks and chairs with power points for laptops and other devices.

Borrowing Laptops

You can borrow a laptop for 1 week.

Self service laptop lockers are on every campus. Available on first come first serve basis. 
There is no charge for this service.

Library Tours

Come along and familiarise yourself with the best resource you have access to the Library!

Tours take place daily between 25th - 29th September on each campus from 12.30 - 13:00. Book your place online.

Library Services has invested in a range of new online databases. 

Aerospace Research Central - Aerospace Research Central provides access to content from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Includes: Conference Proceedings , AIAA Journal - The flagship journal from AIAA, Journal of Aircraft - Focusing on major advances in aircraft technology.

FT.com - One of the world’s leading news organisations, recognised internationally for its authority, integrity and accuracy. Unlimited access to all standard-access articles, columns and features.

Sage study skills (trial)- Develop the vital skills necessary to succeed in your academic and professional careers. Includes research skills, referencing, critical thinking, study strategies, data literacy and much more.

Historic Digimap - Historic Collection gives rich historical mapping for multiple epochs dating back to the 1840.
